Today, the Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Kaja Shukova, had a meeting with the ambassador of Australia to the Republic of North Macedonia based in Belgrade, H.E. Daniel Emery, with whom they discussed the current and future cooperation between the two countries in the field of environment.
Minister Shukova informed ambassador Emery about the development potentials of the Macedonian mining industry and discussed the policy of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia regarding new investments and best available techniques and standards in domestic mining.
At the meeting, ambassador Emery invited Minister Shukova to attend the events that will be organized by the Australian delegation for the upcoming 28th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change COP28, announcing that in 2026 Australia will host the Conference.
