The Deputy Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Hristina Odzaklieska, today had a working meeting with representatives from the Austrian company “Saubermacher”, whose primary activity is waste management and recycling.
The Deputy Minister informed the guests about the current situation and policies for waste management in North Macedonia and discussed future local and regional plans for reducing waste generation developed by the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning.
The representatives from “Saubermacher” informed that they intend to invest funds in the implementation of several projects for waste management, and part of the activities will include education and working with citizens in order to acquire new and better habits for waste disposal.
