On July 26, 2019 Minister Nuredini held and official meeting with the Mayor of Thessaloniki, Hellenic Republic Mr. Yiannis Boutaris.
Mayor Boutaris stressed that after the signing of Prespa Agreement our two countries should show an example for cooperation in the protection of the environment.
The meeting discussed European Programmes for protection of the environment as well as the possibilities for a joint appearance when applying for the establishment of an educational environmental centre.
Minister Nuredini expressed his readiness and openness for cooperation for cooperation and stressed that the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning is available with all its capacities for continuing and expanding the cooperation with the Hellenic Republic in the field of environment.
