On 17 December 2014, Municipality of Kavadarci, Feni Industry and Ecological Society “Tisovec” from the village of Vozarci organized the first municipal ecological quiz in which students of fifth grade from 6 primary schools from Kavadarci participated. As a result of prior conducted school competitions, the best students were selected to participate as school representation in the final quiz in the Hall of the Home of Culture “Ivan Mazov – Klime”. The best knowledge in ecology was demonstrated by the team of the Primary School “Dimkata Algelov-Gaberot” from Vatasha, and the second position was won by the students from the Primary School “Tode Hadzi-Tefov”. All six teams competed in the first round of the quiz. Following the twenty compulsory questions, the result was equal and all teams had maximum number of scores. Then, elimination based competition followed, first for placement of four teams in semi-final and then for final with two teams remaining.
Competitors fought for worth awards – tablet computers for the members of the winning team and excursion for all students of the winning class. The quiz was observed by the Deputy Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Stevo Temelkovski, Mayor of Aleksandar Panov and Executive Director of Feni Industry Nikola Rizov. Many students from all primary schools, representatives of educational institutions and heads from educational sector were present in the Hall of the Home of Culture.
