(23.09.2019 ) Today at the UN headquarters in New York the 74th UN General Assembly kicked off with the Climate Action Summit, which is attended by government delegations from 193 UN member states including a government delegation of the Republic of North Macedonia led by the Prime Minister.
The Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning, represented by the Minister of Environment, Mr. Naser Nuredini, as the responsible body of the state administration responsible for proposing climate change mitigation policies, actively participated in the preparations for the Summit, proposing a reinforced commitment to reduce climate change delivered at the request of the UN Secretary General, Mr. Antonio Guetarres.
