The State Secretary for Environment and Physical Planning, Nebi Redzepi, attended the United Nations Annual Conference for 2023, entitled “Freedom, Equality and Justice for All”.
October 24th is the International Day of the United Nations. This year marks the 78th anniversary of the UN, which, through the United Nationals team at the state level (UNCT), is working to improve the lives of all citizens in the country through the implementation of the Sustainable Development Agenda, and supporting the state in achieving its strategic goals, including the reforms that will help the integration process in the European Union.
The conference enables a dialogue on better ways to deal with discrimination, misinformation, fake news and hate speech between representatives of the Parliament, the Government, human rights institutions, the academic community, media workers, civil society, the UN and partners that support the country for accelerated progress, achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and accession to the European Union.
