At the UNECE Urban Resilience Week 2023, Odzaklieska was accompanied by Andrijana Andreeva, Director at the Spatial Planning Agency.
The eighty-fourth session of the Committee on Urban Development, Housing and Land Management is part of this Week which discussed the regional exchange of experiences and good practices to promote affordable, adequate, and climate-neutral housing and inclusive, circular, smart, and sustainable cities.
In her presentation, Odzaklieska emphasized the importance of spatial planning and the need to accelerate the green transition by creating sustainable planning solutions that increase resistance to climate change and mitigate its impact.
During her stay in Geneva, the Deputy Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Hristina Odzaklieska, had a working meeting with the Ambassador and Permanent Representative of North Macedonia to the UN in Geneva, Teuta Agai-Demjaha.
The results of the Forum of Mayors were also presented, and the implementation of “Place and Life in the ECE Regional Action Plan” and the San Marino Declaration were discussed.
