Today, the Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Kaja Shukova held a working meeting with the ambassador of the Republic of France in our country, H.E. Cyrrile Baumgartner, which discussed the European integration processes of our country (with a focus on the bilateral screening for Negotiation Chapter 27) and the priority activities of the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning regarding the establishment of solid waste management and water supply systems.
Minister Shukova expressed gratitude for the previous support in the area of environmental protection, which we as a country receive from the French Government, as well as for the political and strategic support in the European integration process of the Republic of North Macedonia.
A significant point in the conversation was the support from the French Development Agency in the implementation of the Paris Agreement and the goals of the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans, and in that direction Shukova emphasized that now it is even more necessary to work together in the process of fulfilling these EU perspectives.
