At the same time, Odzaklieska emphasized that we should responsibly follow the goals for sustainable development, which are also a fundamental goal of the European Union, and therefore all stakeholders in society should recognize the long-term benefits of finding a balance between profit, sustainable development, renewable resources on the planet and healthy generations.

At the meeting, Odzaklieska and Angjusheva also agreed that the use of the planet’s limited resources such as mineral resources, which as major polluters of water, soil and air, have a huge negative impact on nature, should be reduced, and that businesses should also concentrate on providing energy from renewable sources that will enable the preservation of the environment, improve the quality of life of citizens, and at the same time encourage the energy independence of our country.

Recently, the MOEPP and the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with which both institutions expressed their willingness to deepen cooperation in the field of environmental protection.
