The Deputy Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Christina Odzaklieska, today had a working meeting with Prof. Dr. Vjekoslav Tanaskoviq, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food at UKIM.
The meeting discussed the deepening of cooperation between the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning and the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food, the application of sustainable practices in agriculture, and its more successful adaptation to climate change.
Deputy Minister Odzaklieska emphasized the need to create and apply green policies, use and introduce a new modern approach in agriculture, and intensive cooperation with the scientific community, for building long-term and sustainable agricultural development and restoration of natural ecosystems.
At the meeting, the interlocutors agreed that institutional support for sustainable practices in the Republic of North Macedonia is of great importance in order to encourage and build sustainable and more productive agriculture, a modern approach to food production, and resistance to climate.
