The Deputy Minister of Environment and Physical Planning, Hristina Odzaklieska, today took part in the Annual Conference to evaluate the implementation of the National Strategy for Prevention of Corruption and the Conflict of Interest with the Action Plan 2021 – 2025, which was held in Skopje.
The conference was organized within the project “Anti-Corruption and Integrity Activity”, financed by USAID, and implemented by the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), and had the goal of presenting the activities from the Action Plan of the National Strategy, through a review of the achieved results and future steps and recommendations.
At the event, the activities from the Action Plan of the National Strategy were presented, and the challenges, obstacles and problems in the implementation, approaches and experiences in the fight against corruption and the introduction of the integrity system and its advancement in the institutions of our country were reviewed. Introductory speeches were given by Biljana Ivanovska, President of the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption, Slavica Grkovska, Deputy Prime Minister in charge of good governance policies, David Geer, the Ambassador of the EU to the Republic of North Macedonia, as well as representatives from USAID and State Commission for Prevention of Corruption.
