At today’s meeting, Minister Nuredini met with the Austrian Ambassador Georg Woutsas to discuss the support that Austria can give to our country in the field of environment, especially by sharing experiences and good practices, but also through technical assistance in preparing project documentation for the use of funds from the IPA 2 program.
However, the focus of the conversation was on the upcoming official visit of Minister Nuredini to Austria scheduled for December this year. During this official visit, a meeting is planned with the Federal Minister for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Motion, Innovation and Technology Leonore Gewessler a meeting which will be preceded by expert meetings on waste management and technical assistance for Chapter 27 of environmental legislation. During the visit there will be organized meetings with Austrian companies with energy production and infrastructure for waste and wastewater management.
