On 29th of August 2019 the Minister of Environment and Physical Planning of Republic of North Macedonia Naser Nuredini held meeting with the Ambassador of Australia H. E. Ruth Stewart.
The discussion was pointed towards considering the opportunities for transfer of experiences by Australia in the field of decontaminating polluted areas.
At the same time, Australia is member in the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO and the Ambassador expressed the support to the Government of Republic of North Macedonia in the efforts of implementation of the plans for protecting the Ohrid Lake.
The Minister Nuredini expressed the gratitude for the support and explained the ongoing activities and plans of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia for the quoted topics, that are of exceptional importance for our country.
Ambassador Stewart expressed gratitude for the detailed information given by Minister Nuredini regarding the plans and activities of the Government of Republic of North Macedonia.
