On August 16, 2019 the Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Naser Nuredini held a meeting with the UNDP Resident Representative in the Republic of North Macedonia Narine Sahakyan.
The Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning is one of the key contributors involved in the work of the UNDP. Ms. Sahakyan presented the current project framework which deals with floods the Polog and Strumica regions, air pollution, implementation and monitoring of the UN Framework Convention for climate change and improvement of management capacities in protected areas.
Minister Nuredini expressed his gratitude and satisfaction that UNDP is an important contributor in the realization of national priorities in the field of environment and conveyed its commitments to continue the cooperation and partnership in achieving strategic and national priorities in the field of environment.
