Department of General Affairs is an important link in the process of uninterrupted and efficient functioning of the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning.
The Department of General Affairs is composed of four units, namely: Unit for protocol and organization affairs; Unit for administrative procedure and documentation; Unit for appeals and proposals; and Unit for normative, legal and administrative affairs.
The Department of General Affairs performs the following activities and tasks:
– Organization of activities of the Minister’s Cabinet and implementation of all activities related to formal and organizational affairs of the Minister’s Office,
– Management of administrative procedure in the Ministry where it is not in exclusive competence of other body/department of the Ministry, settlement and issuance of general acts that are not related to the organization of the Ministry, as well as the rights and the obligations of the Ministry’s employees,
– Issuance of individual legal acts deciding on individual applications of natural and legal persons and settlement of appeals to decisions taken by constituent bodies,
– Handling of appeals and complaints filed by citizens with regard to prolongation of the procedures in the Ministry, efficiency of staff work and other issues indicated in complaints.
